Blue Planet Distribution LLC is announcing a vacancy of Buyer (sport division).

Blue Planet Distribution LLC is a privately owned Azerbaijan retail company headquartered in Baku with primary divisions focused in the areas of sports and luxury retail. It was founded in 2014.

Since 2014 Blue Planet Distribution LLC holds the master franchise licenses for GO SPORT, COURIR , SKECHERS and NIKE for the territory of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the nationwide leading specialty retailer of all sports and sport lifestyle related apparel, footwear and accessories.

Since 2016 Blue Planet Distribution LLC holds the master franchise licenses for luxury brands for the territory of the Republic of Azerbaijan and runs multi-brand luxury stores.

Responsibilities:

• Receive MSRs from different functions such Operations, Maintenance, Retail, Finance, HR, Marketing, Admin etc.
• Process RFQs or organize tenders depending on type and scale of requested material, product or service
• esearch local and international market to provide best overall value or lowest bid depending on requirement and budget
• Perform sourcing, liaising and negotiating with new and existing suppliers to improve business
• Re-negotiate contracts with suppliers to produce better savings and further value for spend
• Create POs based on e-mail communications, MSR, quotations and contract
• Create bid comparison tables
• Review or prepare procurement contracts
• Work with Finance team throughout the procurement cycle to assist with forecasting and budgeting
• Work with Finance and ensure proper documentation for on time payment
• Prepare monthly report of purchases
• Stock control of routine products such as lamps and shopping bags
• Follow up with suppliers, as needed, to confirm or change orders
• Perform other duties related field as assigned by supervisor.

Requirements:

• Advanced Azerbaijani and English
• High education in Economics/ Accounting Business and Administration
• Team working and interpersonal skills;
• Excellent communication skills;
• Numeracy skills and proficiency using IT; (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
• Good organization skills and the ability to multitask;
• The ability to cope with the pressure of having to make important decisions and meet tight deadlines;
• The capability to work in a fast-paced environment and achieve targets;

Work hours- 09:00 till 18:00
Work days – Monday till Friday
