Job role/responsibilities:

• Support the of OHS policies and programs
• Advise and instruct on various safety-related topics (noise levels, use of machinery etc.)
• Conduct risk assessment and enforce preventative measures
• Inspect premises and the work of personnel to identify issues or non-conformity (e.g. not using protective equipment)
• Oversee installations, maintenance, disposal of substances etc.
• Stop any unsafe acts or processes that seem dangerous or unhealthy
• Record and assist in the investigation of incidents and accidents to determine causes
• Prepare reports on occurrences and provide statistical information to HSE management
• To secure oneself and colleagues during the work process;
• To attend all company’s training courses and meetings related with safety, firefighting and evacuation;
• To comply with the safety procedures implemented by the company;
• To take immediate actions or report to direct supervisor on any actual or potential danger to health, safety or equipment on site;
• To plan all works under supervision ahead of time, to evaluate risks, to inform relevant parties during pre-work meetings;
• To comply with environmental standards implemented in the company.

Minimum qualifications &experience required:

• Bachelor’s degree
• Minimum 3 years of site experience in HSE related activities within Construction, preferably Oil & Gas or Petrochemical Industry.
• Strong HSE presentation, evaluation and planning skills
• Excellent knowledge of computers: MS Office, presentation, spreadsheets, document preparation
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proficiency in Azerbaijani, English, Russian
• Good analytical skills
• Ability to work under the pressure
