Your day-to-day
- Maintain a complete awareness of the business goals, sharing with, and motivating the team to deliver
- Attend the daily F&B meeting
- Attend the monthly leadership meeting
- Take accountability for the outlets P&L statement & forecasting of the business
- Oversee the preparation of the weekly schedules based on business demand and manning guidelines
- Oversee performance management for all direct report enthusiasts, Handle disciplinary problems and counsel accordingly
- Establish par levels for supplies and equipment
- Work with management team to ensure requisitions are made based on the needs of the business
- Work with the culinary team to review specials and menu items when necessary
- Work with the Marketing team to come up with promotions for the venue
- Identify talent within the outlets. Oversee succession planning
- Work with Supervisors on general shift management
- Conduct pre-shift meeting with the team
- Check for status of all orders and ensure that they are delivered within designated timelines
- Assist enthusiasts during the shift to ensure a go beyond experience for the guests
- Prepare the departmental training calendar with the departmental trainers, taking into account the training needs analysis
- Conduct on-job training sessions when required
- Maintain the manning for all responsible outlets
- Monitor guest feedback frequently, ensuring complete satisfaction
- Build relationships with guests, securing a database of regular guest data
- Anticipate guest needs, respond promptly and acknowledge all guests. Promote positive guest relations at all times
- Monitor and handle guest complaints, ensuring guest satisfaction
- Access all functions of the Micros system in accordance to specifications
- Responsible for preparing and submitting daily/weekly payroll and tip distribution records
- Complete all paperwork and closing duties in accordance with departmental standards
- Maintain an understanding of all areas of responsibility, including venue & hotel knowledge
- Be responsible for managing cleanliness & maintenance of the venue, with the support of the housekeeping & engineering teams
What we need from you:
- Minimum 3 years of working experience in the same role in 5 star hotel operation.
- Must speak in Azerbaijani, Russian and English languages
