The teacher will carry out the following pre-school education tasks for the 2-3, 3-4 and 5-6 age groups:

• Work with children in groups or one on one, depending on the needs of children and the subject matter
• Plan and carry out a curriculum that targets different areas of child development, such as language, motor, and social skills
• Organize activities so children can learn about the world, explore interests, and develop talents
• Develop schedules and routines to ensure children have enough physical activity, rest, and playtime
• Watch for signs of emotional or developmental problems in children and bring problems to the attention of parents
• Keep records of the students’ progress, routines, and interests, and keep parents informed about their child’s development
• Being able to communicate difficult concepts to kids in a way they understand is crucial.
• To think of new and innovative ways to engage children to learn.
• Classroom organization and management;
• Development and implementation of lesson plans and materials;
• Helping writing and preparing classroom curriculum;
• Keeping records of student development;
• Attending meetings with parents;
• Participation in improvement trainings;
• Participation in staff meetings.

The teacher should have the following qualities:

• Preschool teachers will have to be empathetic to children’s emotions and parent’s needs
• Minimum 3 years experience in local international schools;
• Higher Education Diploma in Preschool Pedagogy;
• Minimum B2 level English proficiency;
• Teamwork;
• Creative and critical thinking;
• Eager to work and self improve;
• Microsoft office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).Port Baku Kids Club
