POSITION SUMMARY:
The Warehouse Operations Intern will assist with internal and external business needs and ensure they are meeting and/or exceeding requirements per the Warehouse Chief. Work directly with the Warehouse Chief to support the facility.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist for daily shipment tracking and to ensure timely delivery of goods.
- Receive products and check that they are not damaged. Return any damaged products.
- Prepare orders for shipment according to picking list requirements, ensuring that orders are accurate.
- Carry out the collection and placement of goods and materials in the warehouse in the appropriate system and sequence and neatly.
- Assist and participate in the preparation and organization of the inventory of goods and materials in accordance with the instructions.
- To comply with the safety and integrity of the goods and materials available in the warehouse;
- To follow the process of documentation on the turnover of income and expenditure documents, the rules of delivery of goods and materials.
- Pack items in a methodical way.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- College Diploma or fresh graduate pursuing a Degree in Economics, Logistics or related fields.
- The ideal candidate will need proactivity and enthusiasm for work in a fast moving and dynamic environment.
- The ability to communicate effectively, especially as part of a team.
- Able to prioritize work, delegate, and meet deadlines.
- Must be a self-started and highly motivated.
- Fluency in written and oral Azerbaijani and English, Russian is preferred.
- Computer skills-user level (MS Office usage).
- Local candidates strongly preferred.
