Purpose of the role:
Managing the New Pharmacies opening project to ensure completion of the job within specified time frames, in an organized and cost-effective manner, in accordance with the approved design and quality standards so as to meet customer’s satisfaction and maintain continuity of business. Number of pharmacies planned to be opened within 1 year = 25 and more.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for entire project management plan including scope, tenders, procurement, production, design, communication, cost, time, risk, etc.
- Represent company in all project meetings.
- Create architectural drawings of new pharmacy starting from zero base and based on brand book, requirements for optimal usage of retail space & regulations applied to pharmacy retail spaces.
- Create and / or examine technical drawings, assess the material & furniture requirements and offers, approve and submit the fit-out, MEP and furniture requisition.
- Verifying the technical aspect of quotes received from vendors. Choose the best suitable for given requirements.
- Coordination between client, site, sub-contractors & suppliers. Negotiation of prices with subcontractors & suppliers and various project stakeholders.
- Checking of invoices from sub-contractors based on the work done at site.
- Plan and organize resources in advance for the assigned site.
- Quality and architectural control of work done at site. Enforce rules, regulations and procedures at site. Personal supervision of sites located in different regions of Azerbaijan.
- Keep all stakeholders aware of the progress on projects and prepare progress reports regularly
- Close out and hand over project to Retail Team.
Requirements:
Education:
- Degree in Architecture, Building Science, Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management or another related field
Professional skills:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in relevant field, designing, construction and fit-out of retail spaces;
- In-depth understanding of retail space planning, construction procedures, material, MEP and furniture allocation planning and project management principles;
- Familiarity with local quality and health and safety standards.
Personal skills:
- Communication and negotiation skills;
- Organizational and time-management skills;
- Result oriented team player.
Language skills:
- Fluent in Azerbaijani, English and Russian.
