Responsibilities:
- Develop all digital signal algorithms and perform tests and verify all algorithms for all processes
- Develop an efficient algorithm for distinction of various anomalies from the signals acquired
- Relate detected anomalies to physical phenomena
- Lead two undergraduate students by tasking and checking them within the project scope
Requirements on technical skills:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Physics, Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, or related field
- Proficient in signal processing algorithm design and embedded DSP development
- Must be able to demonstrate strong problem-solving, verbal, and written communication, and organizational skills
- Have following digital skills:
- C++ & Python languages
- Big Data Processing & Visualization
- GPU & CPU parallelism technologies (including CUDA technology)
- Have following set of knowledge/skills:
- Fourier Transforms, Non-Linear Filters, Signal Decomposition techniques
- Implementation of Signal Denoising algorithms
- Features extraction
- Knowledge in following topics is recommended:
- Electromagnetic scattering theory (Rayleigh, Brillouin and Raman scattering)
- Material Deformation theory and application
- Molecular Vibration theory and application
