Bureau Veritas Azerbaijan is looking for HSE Supervisor

• Duration: Long Term
  Reports to: Country Representative
  Location: Baku and Around Offshore/Onshore

Purpose: to effectively direct, manage and coordinate the complete HSE Assurance, and to ensure the optimization of human, material and equipment resources and to ensure that the company objectives relating to cost, quality, safety, and customer service are achieved.

Job Desription:

• Monitor performance for trends or other indicators of improving or degrading incident performance, and develop and implement strategic solutions that will improve the performance results as required.
• Provide direct and timely advice and information to the management responsible for the entity in all matters related to HSE (Health, Safety and Environmental) performance, compliance, trends, and concerns.
• To develop and review of new or existing project related procedures and policies
• Implements all corporate HSE (Health, Safety and Environmental) initiatives, and communicate all corporate HSE (Health, Safety and Environmental) priorities in a manner that effectively drives program consistency and effectiveness in the entity
• Oversee the specific HSE (Health, Safety and Environmental) plans, playbooks, and procedures for entity to make certain they are current, complete, and effectively implemented.
• Monitors HSE (Health, Safety and Environmental) regulatory compliance within the company. Communicates all findings, concerns, and deficiencies to the responsible managers to effect timely and necessary corrections.
• Develops and implements strategic solutions that will support management’s efforts to improve and maintain HSE compliance as required.
• Identifies opportunities to reduce risks while enhancing quality of services.
• Responses to client employee concerns regarding HSE (Health, Safety and Environmental) matters.
• Supports compliance and the Principles of Responsibility (Client Code of Conduct) by maintaining the privacy and confidentiality of information, protecting the assets of the organization, acting with ethics and integrity, reporting non-compliance and adhering to applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations, accreditation and client policies and procedures.

Qualification: 5 years in related field
International project experience
English (Advanced)

Preferred:

• Advanced Microsoft Excel knowledge
• ISO9001 Internal Auditor
• ISO14001 / ISO 45001-2018 Internal Auditor
• NEBOSH
