Job description:
- Installing and configuring computer hardware operating systems and applications.
- Monitoring and maintaining computer systems and networks.
- Talking to staff or clients through a series of actions, either face-to-face or over the telephone, to help set up systems or resolve issues.
- Troubleshooting system and network problems, diagnosing, and solving hardware or software faults.
- Replacing parts as required.
- Providing support, including procedural documentation and relevant reports.
- Following diagrams and written instructions to repair a fault or set up a system.
- Supporting the roll-out of new applications.
- Setting up new users’ accounts and profiles and dealing with password issues.
- Responding within agreed time limits to call-outs.
- Working continuously on a task until completion (or referral to third parties, if appropriate).
- Testing and evaluating new technology.
Requirements:
- Higher education (technical education is preferable)
- Fluent Azerbaijani and Russian languages
- Knowledge of English language(minimal conversational skills, ability to read and translate technical documentation)
- Minimum 1-2 years of work experience in similar position
- Knowledge and work experience with Windows OS
- Advanced knowledge and experience in Configuring and deploying Windows
- Advanced knowledge of MS Outlook, Word, Excel
- Good troubleshooting skills
- Knowledge of Windows Domain, LAN
- Knowledge and experience in working with printers and print servers
- Mounting passive and active network and other computer related equipment
- Repairing/assembling computer equipment
- Attentiveness
- Good customer service skills
- Good interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to effectively interface with personnel and customers at all levels
- Recommended certification required: CCNA or Microsoft MCP, CompTIA A + Strong work ethic
