Position Responsibilities:

• Adopt and demonstrate an exemplary HSE behavior, to implement HSE rules and requirements.
• Ensure that all drawings, materials, tools and spare parts necessary for the performance of the instrumentation Commissioning activities remain available for the work, ready on time, properly calibrated and in working order
• Conduct JSA (Job Safety Analysis) and Pre-job meetings prior to job execution on the field. Ensure that all team members are fully aware and understand all the projects safe working practices and adhere to them to maintain a SAFE working environment
• Comply with and understand the Permit To Work procedure enforced at both onshore and offshore locations
• Perform with his/her team the Functional testing (instrumentation loop testing, controls logic, F&G detection loop testing, etc.) and Operational Test procedures in his/her area of responsibilities as per
• Project Specifications. Follow-up and verify compliance of the instrumentation of the plant with technical specifications and drawings.
• Monitor that adequate preservation of Instrumentation equipment is implemented as planned before, during and after the commissioning activities
• Witness and support as required the Pre-commissioning activities
• Follow up the punch list and be proactive in punch lists items clearance process.
• Reflect as necessary on the engineering documentation all modifications made during Commissioning
• Support as necessary the other disciplines (electrical, mechanical, ICSS, Telecom, HVAC, etc.) in the performance of their Commissioning activities
• Coordinate daily commissioning activities of his/her team in order to ensure the most efficient utilization of his/her personnel resources and ensure that all his/her Commissioning activities are completed in accordance with the planning

Essential Qualification and Experience:

• STCW certificate is required
• 8 years of experience in Instrumentation and Control Systems. 4 to 6 years of experience in Instrumentation and Control System Commissioning / Field Operations activities. Previous Offshore experience. Brownfield experience would be appreciated.
• A recognized instrument qualification.
• Able to understand P&IDs, loops diagrams and all necessary engineering documents for the performance of the Commissioning and troubleshooting activities
• Able to read / write and speak English.
• Experience in team management and skilled in external communication, able to work in a multicultural environment.
• COMPEX Hazardous Area Certificate (or equivalent).
• Valid BOSIET and medical certificate for offshore work
