Responsibilities include:
- Draft complex international contractual agreements and other contracts, negotiate diverse international contractual documents needed to conduct the Company’s business.
- Have broad understanding of contract provisions and agreements (both legal and business terms)
- Review, revise and edit international contracts from third party providers and negotiations of changes which should be made in contracts
- Checking if documents are acceptable and preparing them for signing
- Informing relevant departments about terms and details from contracts
- Research and gain a deep understanding of regulations and requirements impacting the construction business and converting that knowledge into practical guidance
- Provide substantive direction to non-lawyer staff in responding to inquiries on conflicts issues.
- Assist with responding to client requests received by the firm
- Maintain the highest level of confidentiality, personal integrity, ethics, and dedication.
- Perform other duties and projects as assigned
Employee requirements:
- Higher Education in the relevant field
- At least three (3) years’ experience of working with private business and government contracts.
- Experience with contract reviewing drafting writing and international law contracts
- Having organizational skills and good knowledge of international law practice
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Russian
- Ability and willingness to handle a variety of tasks in an array of substantive areas and to learn new areas of law quickly.
- Experience in handling bid complaints, claims, disputes and related litigation
- Ability to manage legal issues on multiple projects at once, follow through, and meet deadlines
