Location: Rapid Solutions Main Office (BEGOC Business center)

Responsibilities:
Sourcing:
- Conduct local sourcing activities, identify potential local suppliers
- Purchase Order Processing: Creation of PO in Netsuite (related to Shikov base requests), registering and following POs in PO log;
- Negotiation: Collaborate with technical team from Shikov base to understand full scope of request and effectively communicate with vendors;
- Vendor Management: Gathering required documents from the new supplier, register and fulfil registration documents as per approved Supply Chain Procedures, preparing end user certificates if required.
Procurement duties:
- Manage the procurement cycle, review and analyse purchase requisition, prepare and submit purchase order to suppler for MRC and Pump division;
- Plan and expedite purchase orders with suppliers, resolve any issues to ensure on time and complete delivery for MRC and Pump division;
- If required, negotiate changes and other terms and conditions with suppliers to obtain the best return at the most cost effective prices possible, while retaining quality specifications;
- Monitor supplier performance to ensure compliance with all contractual terms and conditions. Take necessary steps to resolve any performance issues;
- Prepare and submit PO status reports for critical orders to provide visibility about the status of the order;
- Act as part of Project Team and attend operation and project meetings to reflect project requirements, including quality, delivery, specifications, price ;
- Proactively inform PR originator in case of unexpected delays or issues, and provide required support to resolve the matter;
- Administer Purchasing Log;
- Raising POs for office/kitchen supplies, transportation and trainings of RSL staff;
- Expediting of raised POs;
- Preparation check lists for bagging and tagging;
- Assistance to Supply Chain upon request;
- Qualifications:
- Technical or Financial graduates or 1-2 years experience in a relative position;
- Strong problem-solving, teamwork, and communication skills;
- Ability to prioritize, multitask, and work independently.
Skills:
- Minimum intermediate written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Computer literate in MS Office.
- Ability to identify and solve problems, and work effectively in a team.
