TWI in Azerbaijan is providing Inspection and NDT Services (3rd party Inspection), Consultancy services of Material, Corrosion Engineering, Research and Consultancy, Failure investigation, Structural Integrity assessment, Welding Engineering, Engineering Facilities (Procurement) WPS & PQR, WQT and international training & Certification (www.twi-global.com).
Responsibilities:
- Demonstrable track record of experience and accountabilities, relevant to the job description described herein, gained on similar large-scale offshore oil & gas projects with an emphasis on jackets and piles:
- Significant leading roles in developing/applying welding procedures and specifications for structural and pressure piping, inclusive of clad piping;
- Previous significant experience with procedure development, consumables, and welding & inspection processes for joining thick section nickel alloy clad piping components;
- Significant experience with the development, application, and interpretation of destructive/non-destructive testing techniques and equipment’
- Experience with system controls for welding equipment;
- Substantial experience with effectively interfacing and working together with owner/ contractor welding and quality control experts;
- Numerous examples of successful interaction and participation on high-impact teams Report non-compliances and unsafe acts observed;
- Compile daily and weekly reports.
Requirements:
- For Azerbaijani National Only
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience;
- Diploma in Welding Engineering or Metallurgy;
- Ability to compile reports;
- Knowledge of welding symbols, welding maps;
- Knowledge of welder and welding qualification procedures and standards;
- Knowledge of welder and welding safety standards;
- Knowledge of common welding process and fabrication practices;
- Knowledge of common construction materials and their weldability characteristics;
- Knowledge of filler metal types and characteristics;
- Azerbaijani and English language skills are mandatory;
- Salary is Negotiable.
