We are an international company with the head office in the USA, and we provide accounting & bookkeeping services for US based businesses. Now we are looking for experienced Accountant (remote work).

This is a unique opportunity for high qualified professionals with a solid experience in managing people (or strong desire to develop in this sphere). Extended professional training is needed before starting the job and will be provided by the company for the applicants who meet the basic requirements listed below.

Responsibility:

• Accounting & Bookkeeping for US based companies.
• Financial statements & managerial reports review, improvements to increase a visibility for business.
• Managing the group of junior bookkeepers (planning & monitoring team members’ workload, methodological support in accounting/reporting, mentoring, monthly results review).
• New clients on-boarding (accounting data review, open balances reconciliation, list of questions/corrections to agree with the client before starting bookkeeping on ongoing basis).
• Active communication with US team on any matters related to the clients’ bookkeeping/reporting.
• Direct communication with US based clients.

Requirements:

• Mandatory to have Azerbaijan citizenship.
• High education in accounting & finance and work experience 3 years+ in respective field.
• English upper-intermediate or higher.
• Experience in managing people or strong desire to manage.
• Tech-savvy: advanced knowledge of MS Office package, preference to prior experience with US accounting software systems (QBO,
• XERO, Bill.com) or ready to learn these new technical tools.
• Project management skills and client servicing skills.
• Leader who takes responsibility for his work and team members management.
• Ambitious in aiming professional goals (challenging tasks).
• Self-discipline for efficient “remote work” setting.
• Desire to learn and study on ongoing basis.
