The Audit Associate will be predominantly responsible to:

Responsibilities:

• Demonstrate understanding and knowledge of industry specific audit procedures
• Apply appropriate accounting principles and auditing standards to reach and support conclusions related to assigned areas;
• Perform upfront reviews wherever required for deliverables and as advised by the team lead
• Ensure the work is performed with high quality and completed within agreed turnaround time
• Assist to perform significant risks assessment and audit procedures according to an audit plan
• Ensure proper documentation and audit file quality, work on improvement in audit work papers based on ET feedback
• Demonstrate awareness of firm’s risk management policies and procedures by identifying independence and conflict issues to team supervisor and /or in-charge
• Continuously adopt process improvements and work towards improving efficiency in the performance of audit
• Develop understanding of services offerings within and across lines of service to identify opportunities to meet client needs;
• and consult with them when variances to standard practices are encountered;
• Ability to improve own performance/ approach to work and client service delivery;
• Participate in firm’s strategic initiatives and/or corporate social responsibility programs
• Any other tasks reasonably assigned to the staff member.

Requirements:

• 1-2 years of audit experience at accounting/ audit firms
• Bachelor degree in accounting, Audit or finance related subject;
• Student membership of ACCA/ CIMA or equivalent is benefit
• Proficient in both oral and written English
• Demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Proactive and career-oriented by nature
• A team player with strong analytical thinking and motivation
• Proficient in the use of standard business software: MS Office tools
• Applicants with less experience or fresh graduates  may be considered as Junior Auditor
