AUDIT INTERN

UHY LLC is in search of motivated and qualified interns for Audit Team who are pursuing a degree in accounting or tax education. We offer a challenging and rewarding work environment while encouraging teamwork within our staff and a balance between work and personal life.

Responsibilities:

• Learn the fundamentals of auditing, and risk analysis through formal training during audit engagements Perform audit functions with audit team support and gain insight into risk management through exposure to a variety of audit assignments (i.e., participating in control interviews/walkthroughs, preparing audit narratives, performing audit testing, summarizing audit results, etc.). Be placed under the direction of the Lead Auditor or Audit Manager to execute audit work (i.e., examining and reviewing documents to ensure compliance with company and department policies and procedures, preparing audit work papers to submit to audit management for review, etc.). Challenge procedures used in the past and attempt to enhance internal controls techniques; Maintain a strong client focus, be responsive to client requests, and develop/maintain productive working relationships with client personnel; Contribute ideas/opinions, listen/respond to other team members’ views; Use technology to continually learn, share knowledge with Audit team members, and enhance service delivery.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s/ MS degree in Accounting/Finance; Desire to pursue or working toward ACCA is preferred;
• Good working knowledge and understanding of Microsoft Excel
• Strong Working knowledge of English and Russian is preferred
• Highly organized and detail oriented
• Aptitude for detail and a strong commitment to accuracy
• Excellent quantitative and qualitative analysis skills.
