Job Title: Internal Audit Specialist
Location: Baku
Department: Internal Audit Department
Reports to: Internal Audit Senior / Manager
Receives work assignments: Internal Audit Senior / Manager
Subordinate: No

Job Description:

• Develop audit procedures to assess internal risks and controls, review and perform tests to ensure proper documentation of audit findings
• Carry out planned audits, including inspecting accounts, checking compliance with applicable laws, detecting ineffective or inefficient practices and verifying financial records
• Work with management and other members of the audit team to recommend ways to drive efficiencies and reduce risks in order to made a positive impact on the company’s bottom line
  Prepare and present meaningfully detailed reports to communicate the results of an audit to Company Management and Audit Committee
• Supervise junior staff to ensure professional standards and success of audit engagements

Requirements:

• University Degree (Finance, Accounting, Audit or another related field)
• More than 3 years of experience in relevant position (i.e. internal auditor, external auditor, etc.)
• Deep understanding of business processes (procurement, finance, commercial, production, etc.) within a Company
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Logical thinking, mathematical and analytical mindset
• Time management, decision making and leadership skills
•  Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Languages: – Fluent Azerbaijani and English, Russian is preferred;
