We’re on the lookout for a driven and independent Business Development Executive to drive our sales initiatives in Baku, Azerbaijan. The perfect candidate is a self-motivated individual with a passion for sales and a knack for identifying and capitalizing on market opportunities in the oil and gas industry.

The Role: As a Business Development Executive, you’ll be the front-runner of our sales strategies, working to grow our customer base, maintain strong relationships with existing clients, and push our business to new heights. Your primary focus will be the oil and gas sector, but your impact will resonate across various industries within Azerbaijan.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Driving sustainable financial growth through strong relationships with vendors and customers, thereby boosting sales.
• Analyzing the company’s inquiry and sales data, and market dynamics to generate business improvement insights and implement identified business opportunities.
• Driving sales growth across existing and new customer bases, and expanding business across sectors within Azerbaijan.
• Developing company, customer, and market-specific vendor relationships to increase sales.
• Undertake periodic and as-required field customer visits to existing and potential customers.
• Exploring B2B business development opportunities in Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Iraq, and other regions including through personal visits.
• Conducting research for new markets, business opportunities, and customer needs.

Overall, your proactive business development efforts are expected to significantly increase actionable inquiries with high conversion potential, boost monthly revenue, and improve the monthly quote-to-order conversion rate for client proposals within the next 2 to 3 months.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical / Electrical / Oil and gas engineering or Petroleum Engineering.
• At least two years of impactful industrial sales experience.
• Fresh graduates with a keen interest and innate skill in sales are also encouraged to apply

Skills Required:

• Excellent communication and technical presentation skills.
• Verbal and written communications skills in English, Azerbaijani language. Knowledge of Russian and Turkish would be an added advantage.
• An eagerness to learn and adapt to new business environments.
• Strong business acumen with a focus on lead generation and negotiation.
• A solid understanding of engineering and industrial products used in the oil and gas industry.

Salary: We are keen to bring on board someone who is ambitious and performance-driven, ideally aged between 24-28 years. We offer a competitive salary package that includes a base salary plus performance bonuses and incentives.
