Job Brief:

We are currently seeking an experienced, and thorough Chief Accountant to join our rapidly growing company. In this role, you will demonstrate your management skills and accounting expertise in a F&B variety of personal and corporate accounting practices, including overseeing payroll and taxes. You must be highly accurate and efficient, utilizing your vast knowledge of the current tax code, upholding standard and accurate accounting system.

Job Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee the entire accounting system
• Ensure that all necessary documents are requested, collected, and compiled
• Organizes and controls the accounting of incoming and outgoing cash, their movement in the accounting accounts, production turnover and expenses, preparation of cost estimates, sales of products, performance of works and services, accounting of financial, reporting and credit operations.
• Review corporate and personal income tax returns to ensure accuracy
• Oversee the processing of state and federal payroll taxes
• Monitor and mentor/train other staff if needed
• Detect and address potential compliance issues proactively
• Always maintain compliance with all state and federal regulations
• Uphold the excellent reputation of our firm
• Maintain constant communication with the state agencies
• Maintain highly organized and updated files
• Work collaboratively with other teams to achieve shared goals
• Report directly to the top management

Requirements:

• BS/MS degree in a related field
• Proven working experience in a related field
• Fluency in Azerbaijani, Russian and English languages
• Extensive corporate and personal tax experience
• Exceptional computer skills, including 1 С, Microsoft Office and databases
• Expertise working with financial statements
• Consistent, accurate, and thorough with an eye for details
• Exceptional organizational skills and aptitude for numbers
• Outstanding communication skills, written and verbal
• Outstanding phone and email etiquette
• Able to thrive in a deadline-driven environment
• Able to motivate the team and lead by example
• Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking
