Competo is an innovative company that works with retail banks and retailers and helps to build a successful business in the field of financial services to private individuals on the basis of the latest financial and IT technologies.
In connection with the expansion of the company’s activities, the Company announces a set of the following vacancy:

Position – Chief Accountant

Key Accountabilities

• Establish accurate accounting of the enterprise in accordance with the requirements of the Tax Code and International Accounting Standards;
• Organization and control company’s finance activity (daily bank, payroll, accounts payable & accounts receivable, budget control, fix assets register, general ledger entries, reconciliations)
• Preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual Tax Reports (including VAT, Profit tax report, Property tax, Income Tax, Withholding Tax);
• Preparation of all kind reports to the State Social Protection Fund and to the Statistics Committee;
• Control (monthly, quaterly, yearly) period-end closing process.
• Implementing 1C 8.3 both for finance and tax accounting.
• Participate of preparation of financial reports (P/L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow).

Educational Qualifications:

• University degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent education in business administration
• Knowledge of legislative and regulatory acts.

Work Experience

• Minimum of 7 years’ experience in Finance or Accounting sphere wherein a minimum of 3 years is in managing a team
• Must have a thorough knowledge of tax legislation, monitor changes and apply in a timely manner;
• Must have a high level of ability to work in Office programs, especially EXCELL and WORD
• Must have a knowledge and experience in International Finance Reporting Standards (IFRS)
• Must be able to work in 1C 8.3 accounting software;
• Must be fluent in Azerbaijani and Russian and Good Knowledge of English
• Must have management skills
