Role Synopsis: Candidates meeting the below stated criteria are requested to send their CV/Resume.

Key Accountabilities:

• Reports to Senior Construction Manager for all on site operations
• Holds responsibility for all on site quality control
• Prepares benchmarks, prototypes etc.
• Holds responsibility for all common user plant and services including maintenance and condition
• Holds responsibility for onsite co-ordination, daily/weekly meetings with trades
• Attends chair trade contractor progress meetings
• Reviews trade contractor Method Statements and report non-compliance or inaccuracies to Project/Package Manager
• Produces and agrees – short term review programmes with trade contractors
• Develops team approach with trade contractors on site and design team
• Comments on trade contractors monthly valuations
• Attends off site inspections and agrees delivery strategy with trades and design team
• Arranges final quality inspections with Project Manager and design team
• Holds responsibility for project image including conditions of hoardings, lighting, signage, entrances, housekeeping etc.
• Ensures all environmental conditions/ requirements are met and monitored
• Reviews and understands scope of work each trade, detailed design, specification and method
• Prepares daily site reports
• Monitors site logistics and material distribution

Essential Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or similar

Essential Criteria:

• At least 3-5 years industry experience in managing and delivering large construction projects
• Strong ability to work within complex and challenging projects
• Must show the contractual knowledge to identify risks and opportunities with subcontractors
• Must know construction methods and technologies, and must be able to interpret technical drawings.
• Ability to work within multiple project teams with competing demands/priorities, to ensure satisfactory completion of projects within defined timeframes and budgets.
• Knowledge/exposure to civil engineering design softwares

Desirable Criteria:

• Ability to handle multiple assignments on a timely basis with a high degree of accuracy
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships with management, subordinate employees, co-workers, contractors
• Being self-disciplined: high level of adherence to the company requirements, such as code of conduct;
• Have a good understanding of health and safety rules
• Project management skills
• Communicate and present in a professional manner, both written and verbally.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and work well in a team
• Ability to work under pressure. Resilience, persistence and willingness to cope with rejection.
