Cyber Security Specialist (Defensive)

Job responsibilities: 

• Installs, configures tests, troubleshoots, maintains, and manages network devices including server, systems, hardware, software, and operating systems within organizational environment.
• Performs system administration on specialized Enterprise Security/Defense applications and systems to include installation, configuration, maintenance, update, backup, and restoration.
• Identifies potential conflicts with implementation of all existing cyber defense tools within the Enterprise Defense provider area of responsibility.
• Administers Enterprise Network Defense test environments, test and evaluate new cyber defense applications, rules/signatures, access controls, and configurations of platforms managed by service provider(s).
• Manages identity and access controls based on the policy of access management and access control mechanisms.
• Investigates incidents and problems as part of the incident and problem management process.
• Analyzes log files, evidence, and other information to determine the best methods for detecting network intrusions.
• Consults on network, application, and customer service issues to support computer systems’ security and sustainability.

Qualificiations:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Information Security, or related fields.
• Minimum of 2 years of work experience in Information Security or related fields.
• Possession of professional certifications such as CompTIA Security+, SSCP or other entry-level certificates is an advantage.

Knowledge and Skills:

• Knowledge of IT, including hardware, operating systems (Windows, Linux, and MacOS), software, and networks, networking concepts and protocols, and network security methodologies.
• Skills in configuring security solutions such as firewalls, antiviruses, DLP and others.
• Knowledge of the installation, integration, and optimization of security system components.
• Knowledge of information security requirements related to banking systems, card application systems and payment systems.
• Knowledge of information security principles and methods (e.g., firewalls, demilitarized zones, encryption), cyber threats and vulnerabilities.
• Knowledge of systems testing and evaluation methods.
• Knowledge of network design processes, including security and operational objectives
• Ability to perform vulnerability assessments and identification of vulnerabilities in security systems.
• Language skills: Azerbaijani (fluent), English (Intermediate).
• Skill with Office Suites such as Microsoft Office or equivalent.
• Ability to work successfully in both individual and team settings.

Work schedule: Həftəiçi 5 gün saat 09:00-dan 18:00-dək.
