Responsibilities

• – Develop a deep understanding of the Proxima Tech Solutions offerings from a security and engineering point of view to design the best possible solution to meet the needs of client
• – Work with customers to facilitate the implementation and integration of our solutions according to their requirements
• – Act as technical expert and serve as a knowledgeable resource to internal and external partners
• – Hands-on experience with implementing, managing and maintaining different security solutions from the portfolio of Proxima Tech Solutions
• – Providing information technology and information security industry best practices on managed security solutions
• – Understanding of common security tools, network, operating systems and databases
• – Support for problem solving in case of system and solution errors
• – Performing technical proof-of-concept works for security solutions offered to our customers
• – Ensure ongoing customer satisfaction, support, and adoption
• – Continuous self-improvement and learning to maintain technical leadership of applicable technologies

• – Bachelor’s degree in Computer Sciences or a related technical field
• – At least 2 years of experience in related areas
• – Experience with systems installation, configuration and administration of routers/switches, UNIX/Linux, and Windows-based systems
• – Experience in one or few of security technologies such as NGFW, WAF, PAM, DLP, Endpoint Security etc. is a plus.
• – Ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment
• – Knowledges of Networks (L2 switching architectures including Spanning Tree, IP routing that includes OSPF and BGP, and L4 Load balancing)
• – Experience and knowledge of modern threats and malware, network forensics, automation tools and technologies, and endpoint security technologies
• – Security vendors and industry-adopted security certification is a plus
• – Languages: Azerbaijani (required), English (required), Russian is an advantage.
