Key responsibilities:
- Compile and apply procedures and instructions for databases, update regularly
- Compile schemes, architectural documents, instructions on databases
- Identify, set up, and manage database management processes and tools
- Adjust database integrity and security in accordance with policies
- Improve the efficient use of information, plan appropriate resources
- Carry out daily tuning, installation, control and automation, improvement activities
- Make suggestions on the solution of incidents and problems related to databases
- Retrieve and return backup copies of databases
- Database clustering, replication, and design
Required skills:
Technical
- In-depth knowledge of MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB databases
- In-depth knowledge of High Availability (HA), Disaster Recovery (DR) in PostgreSQL databases
- Ability to compile and process documents
- Advanced English and Russian
Soft
- Superb analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Great communication and collaboration skills
- Excellent time management and organizational abilities
Qualifications:
- MSc or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or in related fields preferred
- At least 3 years of experience
