Responsibilities:
- Work alongside the Principal, Governors and staff to develop a robust and evaluative programme of School Self Evaluation
- Work alongside the Principal, Governors and staff to develop rigorous and sustainable School Development Planning
- Identify needs and lead initiatives from the School Development Plan across the school
- Take a lead role in curriculum development across the school and be responsible for its quality and effectiveness
- Take a lead role in developing strategies for improving progress and achievement across the whole school
- Work alongside the school leadership to develop, monitor and evaluate the role and responsibilities of the teaching and support staff as required
- Keep up to date with current initiatives and outstanding practice disseminating this information where appropriate
- Promote and lead in the development and implementation of school policies
- Support other colleagues in their roles as curriculum subject leaders, both by formal and informal discussions and willingness to share and promote new initiatives led by other staff
- Take a key role in the school’s programme of Performance Management
- Assist in ensuring the well-being of both teaching and non-teaching staff
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with all stakeholders
- Deputize for the Principal when they are not in the school or are not available
- Ensure the smooth day to day running of the school
- Stand in for staff in regards of duties as necessary
- Deal effectively with behavior management concerns referred by colleagues and non-teaching staff, and support them in maintaining agreed standards of behavior
Background:
- Bachelor degree is a must
- 5+ years of experience
- 2+ years of experience in educational management
- Experience in working with Cambridge and Edexcel Exam Boards
- Experience in working with Azerbaijani curriculum
- Experience in working with Parents
- Knowledge of Child psychology
