Electrical Cost Estimator

Responsibilities:

• Reviewing construction plans and preparing quantity requirements;
• Documenting any changes in design and updating quantity calculations;
• Examining tender packages and uncover uncertainties;
• Collecting necessary information from other departments within the company according to the requirements of the tender package;
• Preparing reports, analyses, contracts, budgets, risk assessment, and other documents;
• Travelling from the office to various sites as required;
• Supporting teammates when needed.

Requirements:

• Post-secondary degree/diploma in quantity surveying, engineering, management, or similar;
• +5 years of related experience in electrical cost estimating/tender;
• Must speak good English;
• Ability to work in a team and independently;
• Excellent communication skills-impersonal, written & presentation;
• Ability to multi-task and meet tight deadlines;
• Self-motivated with a high degree of integrity, honesty and ethics;
• Undertake tasks/activities and prepare all reports as may be requested by Tenders manager.
