Responsibilities:
- Designing new recipes, planning menus, and selecting plate presentations.
- Plan & purchase all food items necessary to prepare meals according to the current menu.
- Strictly follow the HACCP procedure.
- Supervise and coordinate activities of cooks and workers engaged in food preparation.
- Demonstrate new cooking techniques and equipment to staff.
- Manage food costing, controls, and compliance.
- Hiring and training kitchen staff.
Requirements:
- More than 5 years of experience as a chef in a brand hotel.
- Strong culinary background, with the demonstrated ability to stay current with new culinary trends.
- Knowledgeable in current food trends.
- Culinary degree a plus.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
