KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Plans and monitors day-to-day front office activities such as room upsales/upgrades, identification of rooms for VIP guests/groups, registration of rooms.
- Supervises the high level of execution of check-in/check-out processes to meet guests’ requirements and comply with service standards.
- Provides on job training for new employees. Participates in the evaluation of staff performance once a year.
- Ensures all guests’ requests are met in a timely and professional manner. Provides relevant instructions to the staff to ensure all guests complain dealt with politely and courteously.
- Assists front office staff during high season/high occupancy period.
- Liaises with various departments on detailed information such as number of guests in the hotel, type of rooms, invoice submission, guests’ requirements in order to maintain high level of services and cooperation in the hotel
- Ensures that information on additional hotel’s products and services such as entertainment activities are delivered to customers.
- Knowledge of Azeri, Russian and English
- Positive attitude and good communication skills.
- Good knowledge Opera/Micros and Office programs (Word/Excel/Outlook)
- At least 1 year experience in the position
- Transportation to/from Baku/Meal/Accommodation at Staff House is provided
