Job Description:

Englify® Training Center is now recruiting energetic, motivated and creative Full/Part time English teachers who have strong passion in teaching young learners (5 to 12 years old), teenagers and adults in Azerbaijan’s most vibrant city – Baku. We help develop and enhance our learners’ critical thinking and communication skills in a multi-disciplinary environment to become well-rounded thinkers.

With small class sizes of 8 to 10 students, teachers and students have plenty of time to interact with each other and allow learners to discuss and present their projects during the class. We also provide excellent, professional pre-job and on the job training to teachers. We welcome ideas and creativity from our foreign and local teachers to help further develop our curriculum.

Reports to: Center Manager and Head Teacher

Main Responsibilities:

We are looking for experts in the following teaching areas:
1. IELTS
2. TOEFL
3. SAT
4. Technical English
5. Business English
6. General English
7. Teaching Young Learners

• Teachers need to assist in all aspects of center’s programs and activities. Teachers must always provide a positive and supportive environment for the students, monitor student progress closely, and maintain a professional relationship with parents and other staff members. Teachers will also play a significant role in the marketing activities run by the center.

General Responsibilities:

• Maintain a positive and encouraging learning environment
• Be familiar with the center curriculum in order to make suggestions for student placement
• Cooperate with the Center Manager and Head Teacher in ensuring constructive communication and efficient operation of the center that creates a cohesive culture and working environment
• Substitute for absent colleagues (this may be at short notice and off-site)
• Be familiar with the administrative procedures employed in the center and as directed by head office
• Take part in two training sessions per term to keep up to date with current developments
• Assist in marketing activities and promotions.
• Meet weekly with the Head Teacher and center colleagues to discuss student progress and strategies

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree
• Degree in Education and English preferred
• EFL certificate preferred but not required
• Native English speaker preferred but non-native candidates with fluent English and clear accent can also be considered
• At least two years of postgraduate work experience
• Candidates who are already in Azerbaijan preferre
• Fluency in oral and written English
• Energetic, fast learner and an excellent team player
• Patient, self-motivated and passionate in teaching
