Working schedule: 5 days a week, from 09:00 to 18:00. Based on nature of the work you will be able to work from office and from home

Your responsibilities as Head of Fixed Assets and Inventory Unit:

• Ensure completeness of FA module details for Statutory and IFRS ledgers, including accurate reflection of mass additions into CIP/depreciable assets, accurate accounting for dismantled assets
• Review CIP assets on monthly basis to capitalize services and related equipment timely transfer to the depreciable assets.Preparation and correction of letters and documents
• Review policies and make recommendations for potential adjustments, collaborate with the asset management team, company analysts and senior executives, working with asset management systems and tracking technologies
• Managing the asset database, controlling full life cycle of each asset from acquisition through disposition also leading the annual budget, business planning, and reforecasting processes
• Insure timely monthly closing of FA modules, including depreciation / amortization calculation and disposal for IFRS and Statutory ledgers
• Complete year-end adjustments to FA ledger for statutory and IFRS, calculation of continuous depreciation / amortization, and accelerated depreciation of dismantled assets
• Insure timely monthly FA Depreciation reports, including depreciation / amortization calculation and disposal for / IFRS and Statutory ledgers
• Complete list of FA for Property Insurance for group companies
• Support warehouse team in identification/ valuation of scrap/disposed assets
• Execute ad hoc, special reports as assigned

Position requirements:

• Higher education (BA or MSc in Economics or Finance is essential)
• At least 5 years of experience in Finance
• Azerbaijani language (native), English language (advanced), (Russian language is advantage)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint)
• Experience in Telecommunication
