HSE Supervisor

Key Accountabilities:

• Support HSE Manager and team with planning, coordinating and implementing effective HSE policies, guidelines and procedures to ensure that the department objectives are met.
• Provide support to the operation team in all aspects of safety, occupational health, safety, and environmental issues.
• Support HSE Manager in ensuring HSE compliance and performing regular HSE inspections in the areas of business.
• Attend pre-job, planning, and operation meetings as required on HSE-related matters.
• Assist with developing HSE plans that comply with Company policies and procedures.
• Ensure training, toolbox meetings, and drills are implemented as part of the company’s training and HSE program, i.e., emergency response systems, etc.
• Investigate and complete the process for closeout of all Accident Investigation Reports and prepare/submit lessons learned to the HSE Manager for reporting to the management
• Manage Safety statistics reporting. Track and provide regular HSE performance reporting to the department head.
• Conduct HSE training and orientation to all new employees.
• Ensure all worksites are HSE compliant with Company policies and safety standards.
• Support operation personnel in the development of worksite HSE campaigns and good practices.

Essential Education:

• Bachelor’s degree
• International qualification and/or accreditation in HSSE function

Essential Criteria:

• 5+ years of professional experience in HSSE function with a proven track record of the successful projects and cases
• Strong analytical skills
• Ability to handle stress (during incident management)
• Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken
• Fluency in Azerbaijani, English and Russian.
