Hydraulic Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Perform basic hydraulic calculations for optimization of hydraulic system (pressure, flow, engine power, etc.)
• Identifies potential trouble-shootings in hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Checks the productivity of the hydraulic system.
• Supervise and carry out pipe work and equipment installation tasks in accordance with good engineering practice.
• Ensure that all equipment under their control complies with statutory requirements and is maintained at all times in a safe condition or is otherwise completely withdrawn from service.
• Have knowledge of performing engineering design,projection of the systems,maintain and repair of hydraulic equipment (pumps, cylinders, valves, etc.)
• Deal with analyzing the hydraulic structures and conducting the hydrologic analysis, designing structures, leading and supporting the relevant tasks.
• Ability to calculate a budget and follow it.
• Good knowledge of topography.

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Bachelor or higher degree in civil works with specialty in hydraulics
• Minimum 3 years of experience in design or supervision of pipe laying
• Willingness to work in the field to supervise field investigations and pipe laying works
• Relational ability with contractors and customers
• Good command of English written and spoken
• Ability to write reports in English and Azeri(Russian may be interesting)
• Aptitude to travel in neighboring countries
