Reporting to Finance Director.

The main role of the Junior Accountant is to support Finance Department in a wide range of accounting & financial operations-related tasks.

Key Accountabilities:

• Update accounts receivable and issue invoices
• Act as backup accounts payable
• Reconcile ledgers monthly and quarterly
• Support month end closing
• Performing month-end accounting activities such as reconciliations and journal entries
• Support management reporting; monthly, quarterly, interim and annual reporting
• Performing the accounting records regarding the cash and bank transfers
• Ensure that information is accurate
• React in a timely manner if the information is not accurate
• Other duties as assigned

What We Are Looking For:

• Higher education
• 2+ years of experience in accounting firm
• Proficiency with a computer
• Advanced knowledge of Excel and various accounting software programs
• Familiarity with accounting software programs
• Keen attention to detail
• Excellent problem-solving
• Able to maintain confidentiality
