Position Summary:
This position is responsible for controlling and analyzing of costs incurred IN day to day operation. Other main duties are assisting in preparing cost reports, assisting to Senior Cost Accountant in month end procedures, analyzing of activities and cost drivers. The position requires normal knowledge in cost accounting principles and treatment. Also, normal presenting and analyzing skills.
Principal Responsibilities:
- Preparation and collecting data related to breakeven points by products
- Reviewing 611 Report in SAP weekly, analyzing costs posted to each cost centers, adjusting or correcting them if required
- Preparing accruals for month end process for cost centers posting
- Preparing unused annual leave accruals for monthly posting in SAP
- Assisting in collecting and preparation of monthly cost report approved from company side
- Assisting to Senior Cost Accountant in Standard cost calculation process
- Assisting to team in actual month end process
- Preparation of departmental variance analyses on monthly basis
- Allocation of invoices for FI posting purposes
- Other duties requested by Line Manager
Requirements:
- Assist in present monthly variance analyses as per agreed deadline
- Normal computer skills, especially good knowledge of Excel
- Good analytical skills with an attention to detail
- Working on ERP system like SAP or any similar will be considered as advantage
- Ability to analyze cost data and prepare managerial reports
- Normal theoretical knowledge in Cost Accounting
Experience & Education:
- Minimum 1-year work experience as a Cost Accountant, Cost Analyst or similar role
- Advanced knowledge of Azerbaijani
- Good knowledge of English is a must
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Finance
- CIMA C02 or ACCA F2
