Primary responsibilities of the Key Account Manager include the following:
- Develop strong and long-term relationships with customers and KOLs in all assigned accounts.
- Build and maintain strong professional relationships within their territory with key account , medical groups/practices, hospital/academic medical centers, office and ancillary staff involved in the treatment of patients by providing approved, disease and product information in order to meet or exceed assigned sales targets while rspecting Ethics and compliance rules.
- Provide in field clinical training and ongoing clinical education with physicians, key clinical personnel as well as internal and external employees and facilitate onsite training and subject matter clinical expertise to optimize patient safety and outcomes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills along with the ability to multi-task and overcome challenges to successfully engage new users of products.
- Understand and communicate complex clinical data.
- Demonstrate excellent product, customer and market knowledge.
- Proactively and positively contribute to sales meetings and sales team initiatives.
Qualifications:
- University degree.
- Field sales experience in the pharmaceuticals industry.
- Must be proficient in the following applications: MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Outlook.
