Logistics Assistant

Job responsibilities:

• Create and maintain contacts with, freight forwarders, custom brokers, and customers to ensure timely delivery of goods;
• Review import documents prior to forwarding them to customers/freight forwarders and custom brokers;
• Update tracking report with information from the delivery schedule;
• Organize and file customs commercial documentation;
• Request freight quotes from the different carriers/truckers;
• Communicate with freight forwarders to verify shipment status and resolve problems;
• Check all documentation are correct for releasing and shipping;
• Coordinating the necessary information with logistics companies after ordering;

    Required Background, Skills and Knowledge:

• Bachelor degree in, Logistics, transportation and other related fields;
• 1 year of experience in logistics;
• Practical knowledge of logistics operations;
• Knowledge of English and Russian;
• Excellent spoken and written communication skills;
• Ability to multitask and meet datelines;
• Strong problem solving abilities;
• Attention to detail;

Conditions:

• Schedule: Full-time work, Monday-Friday, 09:00-18:00.
