Duties & Responsibilities:
Include, but are not limited to the following:
- Plan, estimate, schedule and coordinate execution of maintenance, inspection and repair works.
- Ensure that material, tools and manpower are available for the execution of the planned works.
- Arrange and coordinate visits of 3rd parties to sites for the completion of planned jobs.
- Review manpower availability and competencies and select a quantity of work orders to accommodate available resources based on priorities.
- Research inventory for required parts/materials to perform the maintenance and repair tasks.
- Identify out of stock parts and inform customer and material coordinator about the need to order parts.
- Ensure required parts and special tools are removed from customer’s warehouse stock and is dispatched to job location for each job and returned back upon completion of work.
- Compile all work orders requiring unit/station shut down and plan them to be performed during TAR.
- Maintain planning records and report on actual performance against plan.
- Produce high quality plans and schedules and distribute them to team members, site personnel and customer in timely manner.
- Produce schedule for following weeks and distribute to team members, site personnel and customer in timely manner.
- Arrange and facilitate meetings with site personnel and customer to review and agree forthcoming plans and schedules.
- Gather and review work progress on a daily basis.
- Generate high quality task procedures and work packs to allow efficient scheduling, assignment and execution of maintenance, inspection and repair works.
- Identify the people, tools, materials, services, and procedures needed for a quality work pack.
- Review work orders and identify required permits and ensure they are included into the work packs.
- Modify task procedures based on received feedback upon job completion.
- Modify or create master CMMS data such as assets, PM routines, and inventory.
- Ensure correct maintenance, inspection and repair procedures and sheets are included into the work packs.
- Maintain task procedure libraries and ensuring procedures are complete, accurate and easily accessible.
- Identify list and amount of required consumables and ensure they are ordered in time.
- Support engineers and material coordinator in decision to purchase/stock equipment, tools and materials to support maintenance.
- Maintain and manages maintenance backlog by the disciplines.
- Manage daily backlogs to clean up and prioritize work.
- Maintain list of special tools register.
- Track and record rotating equipment running hours.
- Ensure measurement tools and devices are calibrated and lifting equipment are recertified on time.
- Monitor the agreed KPI metrics, taking appropriate actions to close the deviation from the targets.
- Identify improvement opportunities and basic defect elimination in the day to day execution of work.
- Maintain healthy relationships and effective collaboration with other team members, offshore personnel and customer to improve performance.
- Conduct regular visits to offshore sites for job/field walk-downs.
- Provide input to yearly maintenance budget preparation and track for expenditure of the department’s budget.
- Assist in deploying CMMS and provides necessary user trainings to site personnel and new joiners.
- Ensure CMMS is fully functional and equipment/spares are properly recorded in the tool.
- Design and generate planning, scheduling and inventory control reports in CMMS.
- Validate data (maintenance task procedures, PM schedules, correct labor codes, materials, and hours) before entering it into CMMS.
- Adjust man-hour estimates, tasks, parts/materials, etc. in CMMS based on information feedback from site personnel.
- Ensure correct data is entered and work orders are closed out in CMMS upon job completion.
- Generate check lists for each type of engine and compressor removal and installation works and ensure they are included into the work packs.
- Produce and manage field service engineers shift rotation schedule and collect timesheets upon shift completion.
- Ensure monthly work completion reports are received, signed and sent to the customer in timely manner.
Education/Experience and Qualification:
- High school diploma preferably in engineering.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in maintenance planning preferably in Oil & Gas industry.
- Expert knowledge of planning tools (Primavera, MS Project) and CMMS.
- Ability to read and understand maintenance manuals, procedures and standards.
- Experience with HSE policies, including Permit to Work, Isolations, Risk Assessment.
- Understanding of preventative and predictive maintenance techniques.
- Good analytical abilities and problem-solving skills.
- Be able to work on own initiative, work to deadlines and also be a team player.
- Be able to plan work so that completion is achieved in an efficient manner.
- Be flexible and ensure different solutions to problems can be easily adopted.
- Be able to work quickly and accurately within a team environment, often under pressure from the customer.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Good technical writing skills.
- Fluent English language.
- Advanced PC user.
