The legal entity name of the new company is SOCAR-KBR LLC and provides design, engineering, technical, procurement, construction supervision and project management services for projects across the upstream, midstream and downstream oil and gas sectors, in the Azerbaijan – Georgia – Turkey (AGT) region. Position Title: Manpower Controller

Work Location: Baku

Role synopsis:

Ensure proper time keeping for the project, work with timesheets, project staff approval forms and other project documentation.

Key accountabilities:

• Work closely with Project Accounting team to ensure proper time keeping for the project;
• Liaise with the Client with respect to project personnel authorization and de-authorization;
• Obtain CVs for all new personnel and provide P&L information for all new starters;
• Maintain PAAF Register for projects;
• Run timesheet reports to ensure correct bookings for Baku personnel, sense check all bookings;
• Run weekly labour reports for client (prepare & track which have been returned signed);
• Timesheet changes (mis-bookings / transfers when new call-offs are awarded etc.), including historical edits;
• Timesheet queries;
• Weekly timesheet reminders and instructions;
• Weekly overtime checks (hours worked vs those requested);
• Manage restriction tables for the project;
• Assist with the requests of internal and external auditors;
• Prepare project related ad hoc reports as and when required;

Essential education, experience and job requirements:

• College/Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Math, Management or any other related field;
• 3-5 years of experience in a similar role. Experience in the oil & gas environment is an advantage;
• Fluent English and Azerbaijani, knowledge of Russian is desirable;
• Good written and verbal communication skills;
• Good skills to Intermediate level in Microsoft products, good knowledge of MS Excel is must;
• High degree of diligence and attention to details;
• Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure;
• Strong personal skills capable of forming relationships with both accounting and non-accounting stakeholders both internally and externally
