We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Math Teaching Assistant to join our team at LANDAU School. As a Math Teaching Assistant, you will support the Math Department by assisting teachers and students in various mathematical concepts and exercises. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about mathematics and education to contribute to the academic growth of students.

Responsibilities:

• Substitutes teachers in their absence
• Supports the emotional and social development of the students (report any issues when required)
• Supports teacher in promoting positive behavior
• Checks Homework
• Writes and submits logs
• Checks tests/exam papers
• Prints test papers and worksheets
• Individually assists students in need during the lesson
• Carries out administrative duties such as preparation of the classroom, resources and displays
• Provides support outside the classroom duties as required Escorts and supervises students during school activities or field trips
• Attends staff meetings and training sessions as required
• Takes opportunities for further training in the skills of a teacher
• Motivates and encourages students
