Mechanical Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Plan, conceptualize, and create mechanical designs;
• Develop testing processes, and perform testing and validation of new designs;
• Perform engineering calculations to support design work;
• Create and review technical drawings, plans, and specifications using computer software;
• Inspect, diagnose and perform major and minor repair work on motors, pumps, hydraulic equipment, compressors, controls, valves and related equipment;
• Inspect, adjust and replace necessary units and related parts in the performance of repair and maintenance work;
• Maintain records, prepare reports and other specialized maintenance records of equipment;
• Perform detailed documentation to track project development and design process;

Qualifications:

• Thorough experience in mechanics, hydraulics, pumps and valves, generators, etc.;
• Working knowledge and experience of Diving system and equipment;
• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering
• At least two (2) years of related mechanic’s experience; (1 year with Diving related equipments)
• Experience using CAD software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar;
• Firm grasp of engineering concepts, and experience designing mechanical systems and products;
• Excellent math skills: ability to apply advanced mathematical principles and statistics to solve problems;
• Ability to communicate effectively and clearly in English;
• Exceptional technical and problem-solving skills and reasoning ability.
