Mechanical Erection Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Review the scope of works, execution plans, relevant drawings, method of statements and risk assessments to ensure that work can be executed safely and efficiently,
• Understand, plan and deliver assigned tasks within agreed timescale,
• Identify areas requiring more detailed instructions and clarify expectation as necessary with Discipline Lead,
• Complete tasks in accordance with applicable engineering codes, industry standards and work procedures.
• Seek clarification or instruction as soon as difficulties arise and recommend alternative solutions
• Perform through self-check of all deliverables prior to submission for review/approval
• Prepare organized documents in a well-structured format to clearly transmit required information,
• Interface with Discipline Lead and peers for resolving issues, sharing information and progress,
• Understand how assigned tasks will affect all disciplines, provide timely and accurate data to other disciplines in support of their design requirements in meeting deadlines
• Coordinate with Vendors, Subcontractors, Third Party Consultants etc. to ensure timely review of documents and that comments are made with required quality level,
• Attending daily toolbox meeting and ensure that the mechanical manpower are proper working according to Quality and HSE rules.
• Follow the delivery and inspection status of project materials and organize transportation of materials in accordance with site schedule.
• Implement the correct handling and daily update of mechanical tracking table.
• Follow quality steps of scope and coordinate all inspection with QC Department without delay.

Requirements;

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Relevant Experience in Industrial Project (+2/3 years)
• Team-oriented skills, Self-confidence and Motivation, Communication skill, with Strong Bias toward timely performance and problem resolution,
• Computer Skills: AutoCAD: min. Elementary, MS Office: Advanced.
• Foreign Language: English: min. Elementary
