Duties & Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with engineers and other specialists, to identify measurement issues and provide solutions
• Develop internal procedures for laboratory equipment calibration and maintenance
• Improve procedures, processes, and techniques to meet more complex requirement
• Set up equipment for tests
• Issue calibration certificates based on internal procedures and recognized standards
• Review data to ensure compliance with project data quality goals and to identify areas for improvement in the quality system
• Maintain electronic records of measurement results and reports in accordance with the Company management procedures
• Independently test, calibrate and repair electrical, mechanical and electronic measuring, recording and indicating instruments and equipment for conformance to established standards, and assists in formulating calibration standards
• Calibrates and repairs specialized test systems
• Plans sequence of testing and calibration procedures for instruments and equipment, according to schematics, technical manuals and other specifications
• Sets up standard and special purpose laboratory equipment to test, evaluate and calibrate other instruments and test equipment
• Disassembles instruments and equipment, using hand tools, and inspects components for defects
• Reassembles and calibrates instruments and equipment
• Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• 3 or more years of work experience in the calibration of test equipment;
• Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of all aspects of the job, including the ability;
• To set up and operate standard Metrology instruments;
• Minimum of a B.S. degree in Science or Engineering from an accredited institution;
• Language Skills: Azerbaijani, English, Russian;
• Established eye-hand coordination, the capability to work with small precision devices and frequently used hand tools, comprehensive knowledge of the calibration and tst equipment, and the ability to work independently under minimal supervision;
• Demonstrated ability to read, write and converse in technical terminology, and perform a range of mathematical calculations and measurements;
• Excellent PC literacy MS Office (Word, Excel & PowerPoint) & calibration management software;
• Ability to work within a team and as an individual contributor in a fast-paced, changing environment;
• Ability to leverage and/or engage others to accomplish projects;
• Strong verbal and written communications with ability to effectively communicate at multiple levels in the organization;
• Multitasks, prioritizes and meets deadlines in a timely manner.
