Department: IT & ERP
Reports to: IT & ERP Manager.
Main duties:
- Adheres to and enforces Help Services Procedures designed to provide responsiveness to requests for assistance in support of business needs;
- Provisioning support for user requests;
- Supporting Microsoft Office 365 platform (Office apps, OneDrive, Teams);
- Fully support, configure, maintain and upgrade corporate customer’s networks and in house servers;
- Install and integrate new server hardware and applications;
- Support and administer third-party applications;
- Ensure network security and connectivity;
- Monitor network performance (availability, utilization, throughput, goodput, and latency) and test for weaknesses;
- Set up user accounts, permissions and passwords;
- Resolve problems reported by end user;
- Define network policies and procedures;
- Specify system requirements and design solutions;
- Research and make recommendations on server system administration;
- Printer configuration and troubleshooting;
- Configuration and support of corporate applications and services;
- Setup and/or configuration of network devices, such as access points, switches, etc;
- Registering user requests in ticket management system;
- Offer suggestions for possible problem solution, upgrades and changes within the IT department;
- Tracks all end user computing equipment from receipt through disposal;
- Define software, hardware and network requirements;
- Installs hardware and software to meet end user requirements;
- Troubleshoot system and network problems, diagnosing and solving hardware or software faults;
- Prioritise and manage many open cases at one time;
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or engineering or related field;
- Proven experience in a network administrator role;
- Hands on experience in networking, routing and switching;
- Excellent knowledge of best practices around management, control, and monitoring of server infrastructure;
- Experience with firewalls, Internet VPN’s remote implementation, troubleshooting, and problem resolution is desired;
- Certification in a related field is an advantage;
- Ability to quickly establish good working relationships;
- Attention to detail and good problem-solving skills;
- Strong communications and organisational skills;
- Russian and Azerbaijan languages Fluent or Advanced, English Intermediate or higher may be acceptable (with ability to read technical documentation);
- Good understanding of computer systems, local network, mobile devices and other tech products;
- Ability to diagnose and resolve basic technical issues;
