Piping Erection Engineer

Responsibilities

• Set up of construction site organization plan for piping works, including all necessary   pipe support erection,
• Plan erection activities along with piping lead engineer and interdisciplinary           engineers.
• Resolve construction issues and evaluate engineering deficiencies on-site with           affected teams/disciplines.
• Implement and supervise the correct handling and daily update of log-files for Spool Tracking List, Weldlog, NDT tracking.
• Assign site supervisors to respective areas or activities as per the requirement of            project. Issue discipline related Site Instructions.
• Supervise construction and erection of pipe spools and pipe supports as per latest issued construction drawing.
• Review construction schedule and procurement plans.
• Daily inspection of fabrication activities at workshop including dimensional spot-       checks and participation in the execution of acceptances of the contractual scope of       work.
• Implement and supervise review cycle of Method Statements, Red Line and          Technical Queries (TQ).
• Review and approve site work permits.
• Coordination with QC team for any kind of NDT works including PWHT,
• Ensure compliance with project standards and specifications.
• Check and agree on delivery deadlines for prefabricated items and clarify prefabrications and intermediate transports.
• Coordinate and supervise clearance of punch points by contractors.
• Request and check “as-built” documentation of contractors and submit corrections to corresponding department.
• Initiate and supervise the collation of the final construction as-built documentation.
