Responsibilities:
- Build projects pipeline based on strategic objectives and initiatives of the Group;
- Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and preparing project business case;
- Oversee and have accountability for the successful delivery/completion of all aspects of the project;
- Coordinate and communicate with internal and external stakeholders incl. 3rd parties such as vendors, subcontractors, regulatory agencies, state authorities, etc. for the flawless execution of projects;
- Draw up, prepare, and maintain project files and project-related templates and documents incl. but not limited to business cases, project chapters, project schedules, project resource plans, risk mitigation plans, etc.;
- Conducts project meetings and generate and distribute periodic reports, statistics, presentations, procedures, proposals, and general documentation requirements regarding ongoing/completed projects;
- Identify and facilitate resolution of any potential or actual deviations from the plans in terms of scope, schedule, and cost and reconcile conflicts between various stakeholders;
- Ensure all changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs are documented and disseminated/communicated to the respective people and teams and
- hanges request are generated and implemented;
- Outline work plan and assign duties, responsibilities, and scope of authority with and within the project team;
- Proactively assess/screen internal and external environments for any risks pertaining to execution of projects as per the plans;
- Contribute to the development of project management best practices, tools, and techniques and build organizational knowledge/lessons learned repository.
Knowledge and skills:
- At least Bachelor or Master of Science degree;
- At least 3 year of continuous project management experience in Oil and Gas, IT/Telecom, or banking domains;
- Knowledge of and experience with both traditional/waterfall and emerging/agile project management methodologies, tools, and techniques;
- Possession of relevant certification from leading project management organizations (e.g. PMI/IPMA);
- Good command of MS Project or any other proven Project Management solution;
- Excellent command of Azerbaijani, both written and spoken; advanced English is a plus;
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to build collaborative relationships with all stakeholder groups;
- Excellent written and spoken communication, and presentation skills;
- Ability to work with minimum supervision in a dynamic and high-volume environment;
- Attention to detail and ability to deliver high quality work within tight deadlines.
