Public Program Manager

Responsibilities:

• Conceptualize and deliver consistent public program for broad audiences.
• Organize public events linked to the concept of every exhibition.
• Liaise with musicians, artists, designers and filmmakers.
• Supervise the work of the Public Program team and communicate with project participants to successfully implement activities.
• Provide direct support to artists in preparing for concerts, talks, performances etc. and conduct follow-up.
• Manage project timelines and deliverables.
• Create, implement, and evaluate budget. Track expenditures and ensure cost-effectiveness.
• Maintain, compile and analyze data to regularly monitor progress towards project indicators and targets.
• Build relationships with Art Schools, Ministry of Culture, and other institutions, individual artists and arts groups, policymakers and other key decision makers that have impacts on cultural field.
• Conduct and compile arts related research (scouting artists, musicians and filmmakers).
• Facilitate communications with multiple audiences; promote inclusion to maximize broad participation in the project.
• Prepare materials for the website and social media.
• Write and edit articles, reports, online announcements and other materials.
• Successfully monitor feedback to identify and resolve problems and meet project needs.

List of requirements:

• The right person should be a quick learner and have passion for art.

Additional criteria:

• 4-5 years of experience in art management.
• Academic background in management (preferably, but not a must).
• Strong communication & social skills.
• Fluency in Azerbaijani, English and Russian.
• Knowledge of basic programs (Word, Excel, Power Point).
• Ability to work in a stressful environment.
