Reports to: Finance Controller

What are expected from the candidate:

• Performing financial analysis and reporting to management as needed
• Performing month-end accounting activities such as reconciliations and journal entries
• Coordinating with finance team to complete assigned accounting tasks within deadlines
• Generating financial reports and statements to Management
• Analyzing financial discrepancies and recommending effective resolutions
• Monitoring expenditures, analyzing revenues and determining budget variances and reporting the same to management
• Responding to accounting inquiries from management in a timely fashion
• Providing guidance to other Accountants when needed
• Participating in budget preparation and expense management activities for assigned accounts
• Assisting in auditing activities by providing necessary information and preparing requested documentations
• Monitoring and recording financial transactions according to company policies and regulations
• Participating in preparation of tax reports and controlling over tax related issues

What qualifications the candidate need to possess:

• ACCA or Min Degree in Accounting/Finance (F7 or DipIFR preferred)
• Min 3 years relevant experience in financial & management accounting, 1 year in senior position (experience in HORECA is preferred)
• Exceptional computer skills, including Microsoft Office particularly strong capabilities in MS Excel
• Good knowledge of Tax Code of Azerbaijan
• Working experience with accounting or ERP software
• Good knowledge of English language is an advantage
