JOB TITLE (JOB HOLDER): Senior Project Control Engineer

SITUATION IN ORGANIZATION

• Position to report: Deputy Project Director/Project Control Manager
  Contract Duration: 1.5 years

JOB DIMENSIONS / CONTEXT

• JOCAP Joint Operating Company is managing the EPS phase through an EPCI contract with BOS Shelf for Receiving Facilities and Tie-ins, and Technical Services agreements with TotalEnergies, who is conducting on its behalf both Drilling operations and Subsea package. Absheron development reference agreements are PSA, JOA and addendums.

ACTIVITIES / ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Assist Project Control Manager in coordination of all Project Control related activities i.e. Planning, cost control, quantity surveying, DCC, Project Risk management
• Coordination of Project Time Schedule updates on weekly and monthly basis, accountable for schedule forecast
• Coordinate the Project Budget Forecasting activities, assure that all uncertainties are identified and associated budget estimations done in accordance with the requirements of EPCI Contract.
• Validation of Monthly Payment Applications issued by Contractors/Service Providers
• Evaluate the Contractual basis and commercial impact of Change Orders/Requests.
• Coordinate Schedule Risk Analysis process
• Accountable for the preparation of internal and external reports
• Assist Project Control Manager in preparation of annual work programs and associated budgets
• Act as Project Control Manager in his/her absence

HSE RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Comply with the activities described within the HSE Management System

• Know responsibilities to environmental issues in the work areas

QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE:

• Degree in engineering discipline;
• Minimum 10 year experience of O&G with minimum 5 year as project Control Engineer in reimbursable T&I, HU & Brownfield Contracts;
• Sound experience in EPCI Schedules development, monitoring and update
• Cost management experience of a portfolio at least > 100 MUSD Projects preferably in Oil & Gas Projects within major Operating Companies;
• Experience of working with EPCI Contractors under different contractual schemes i.e. lump-sum, reimbursable etc.;
• Use of SAP controlling, commitments and cost structure modules Understanding of company and project finance;
• Sound excel knowledge.
• To be proficient in Primavera P6 and its Risk Module
• Fluent in English languages, Azerbaijani and/or Russian languages will be a +.
• Ability to work on projects in a complex and multicultural environment and used to communication with international technical staff and experts
