The company is currently looking for highly motivated junior candidates, who look to build up their careers with a leading drilling operator in the Azerbaijan sector of the Caspian Sea, to fill the vacant position of Cost Control and Optimization Specialist in our Economic Planning and Cost Optimisation Department.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Calculation and payment of monthly wages and related payments;
- Preparation of monthly salary audit report, finding solutions to inconsistencies;
- Total Reward system administration;
- Compensation and Benefits management, administration and improvement;
- Preparation of analysis and reports for Annual Pay review process;
- Salary Survey administration;
- Market data analysis;
- Variable payments administration;
- Building up Total Reward system and KPI reports;
- Grading administration;
- Job evaluation;
- Preparation of quarterly “Tax Declaration” to be submitted to the State Tax Service of Azerbaijan Republic;
- Preparation of monthly and annual reports to the State Statistical Committee of the Azerbaijan Republic;
- “Endowment Life Insurance” management;
- Annual personnel budget preparation and management;
- Related vendor management;
- Working with internal and external auditors and preparing their requests;
- Train all internal stakeholders on TR policies, procedures, processes and tools to ensure consistent implementation;
What you will need to be successful:
Experience
- 4-5 years of work experience in the Human Capital / Total Reward;
- Knowledge of the Labor Code of the Republic of Azerbaijan and other relevant normative legal acts;
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree preferably from Economics, Applied Math or other departments related to the role;
- Skills/Abilities:
- MS office suite;
- Ability to work in SAP Payroll Accounting Module;
- Fluent Azerbaijani and English;
- Strong people skills and solid team player;
- Excellent presentation skills, outstanding formal and informal communication abilities, comfortable presenting to senior management;
- Well-developed agility;
- Able to communicate timely business insights from the data and share and defend those insights;
- Ability to think outside the current processes and make recommendations;
- Strong logical, analytic and creative thinking abilities.
