Sn.Test Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Analyze test results and identify what deliveries cause an issue
• Contact developers to discuss and arrange fixes for issues found
• Create and maintain dashboards of results of integration and test
• Maintain the database of known issues
• Automate integration and test steps where possible
• Understand code and know how to work with it (C#/PHP/JavaScript)
• Have experience in collaboration tools such as JIRA/Confluence/Bitbucket
• Can collaborate within mixed scrum teams with clients and know how to give the right advice on testing matters
• Have analytical mind and very good communication skills
• Enjoy coaching, mentoring, and helping team members grow
• Have knowledge about one or more of the following methods: test case design, exploratory testing, regression testing, load/security testing, web/api/mobile automation
• Explore opportunities for improvements and pro-actively connect initiatives on testing
• Challenge the development teams to deliver the best possible quality and be a gatekeeper for the quality of the assemblies

Requirements:

• Bachelor or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Electronics or other related studies
• 5+ years of working experience in Quality Assurance
• Experience in programming/scripting and/or (test) automation
• Experience in a high-tech environment
• Experience in integration of deliverables of multiple development teams
• Experience in defining a test and integration approach and testing complex solutions
• Excellent social and communication skills in English
• Able to work independently
• Strong collaborator enabling the teams to meet their goals
• Pro-active and reach out to all relevant stakeholders within and outside the department
• Ability to take ownership, drive initiatives and challenge others
• Analytical and can set priorities in your day-to-day activities
• Flexible and can take decisions under pressure
• Quality mindset and a strong affinity with testing
• Have experience with manual/automation testing on multiple projects
